CELEBRITY NEWS BITTER WAR OVER BEATLE GEORGE’S $384M FORTUNE! His widow and poor sis haven’t talked in 44 years A VICIOUS 44-year family feud has left the 86-year-old sister of the late Beatles great George Harrison struggling to survive while his widow and son inherited his staggering $384 million fortune and live in a 120-room Victorian mansion. Louise Harrison says George gave her a $2,560 monthly allowance that was supposed to be doled out for as long as she lived. But the cash was cruelly cut off by his widow, Olivia, after the Beatles icon died at 58 in November 2001, Louise claims. “After he died, that ended,” says Louise. The music icon’s aged sister now lives in Solana Beach, Calif., where she barely survives on Social Security and managing a Beatles tribute band, Liverpool Legends. She admits: “I am struggling for money.” Sadly, Louise spoke with her brother, who was battling rampaging lung and brain cancer, a week before his death. He told her his big regret was doing so little for her, saying: “You know, I could have been a lot more help to you. I’m sorry.” Louise says she and Olivia, 69, mom of George’s musician son Dhani, 39, haven’t spoken for more than four decades. She believes the bad blood stems from her friendship with George’s first wife, Pattie Boyd, who he wed in 1966. That marriage crashed in 1977 and he made Olivia his bride the following year. “During his second marriage, he stopped calling to give me his latest number,” Louise notes — but he still sent her money. “He agreed to give me a pension,” she says. “It was his intention to make it last my lifetime but I’d rather be broke than live rich and heartless.”
